A clearer starting point

Clear responsibilities make trade easier to coordinate.

An importer, exporter, carrier and clearance agent may each need different information. Agreeing who provides, checks and acts on that information helps avoid gaps between the parties.

Service scope

What the work involves.

01

Information review

Discuss the completeness and consistency of the shipment information provided. Accurate descriptions, quantities and party details help the next stage proceed.

02

Clearance liaison

Coordinate queries with the relevant clearance party. Classification, permits and other regulated requirements need review by the responsible qualified parties.

03

Freight & delivery connection

Align the cargo readiness, freight stage and delivery arrangements. Identify the handover point and any work outside the agreed scope.

04

Digital document handover

Use electronic information exchange for the agreed workflow. Confirm accepted formats, recipients and any originals required by the relevant parties.

Questions, answered

Before you get started.

Does coordination replace a customs agent?

No. The scope should identify the appointed agent and each party’s responsibility. Do not assume that coordination means OmniMesh performs every regulated task directly.

Can all paperwork be removed?

Electronic handover can reduce repeated manual exchange, but original or prescribed documents may still be required by the relevant authorities or service parties.

Why can a shipment be delayed?

Incomplete information, inconsistent descriptions, inspections or unconfirmed cargo requirements can hold up a stage. Confirm the cause with the responsible party before revising the plan.

Can I ask for help with a shipment already underway?

Share its current stage, the parties involved and the outstanding issue. The team will assess the support that can be provided.
